Join us for a transformative 8 WEEK SATURDAY MORNING program focused on mastering emotional regulation skills! Designed to empower young minds, our program offers a nurturing environment where participants learn invaluable tools to navigate their emotions with confidence and resilience.
Through engaging activities, mindfulness exercises, and supportive guidance, students will develop essential self-awareness and coping strategies to manage stress, build healthy relationships, and thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Skills that will be focused on include:
- Ldentifying emotions
- Learning about the different states of emotions
- Ldentify early warning signs and triggers for dysregulated behaviour
- Self-regulating and coping strategies (calming and alerting strategies)
- Reading facial expressions and understanding other people’s perspectives
- Problem solving skills
