We believe vision care should not be a one size fits all, but a personalised experience designed for each patient we see. Our philosophy is based on functional, therapeutic and behavioural principles.
At the heart of children’s learning, development, and daily activities lie crucial foundations in processing, visual perception skills, and sensory integration. Our multidisciplinary team, comprising vision therapists, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists, specialises in nurturing these foundational skills in children. By addressing these skills and a spectrum of physical, sensory, emotional, and cognitive challenges, we aim to enhance learning outcomes, foster holistic development, and empower children to engage fully in their daily activities with confidence and capability.
We stock a diverse range of Australian and international eyewear brands, from timeless styles to the latest fashion trends. We have one of the largest ranges of children’s eyewear in Perth, with frames for infants through to teens, and also offer task-specific options for sport, work or hobbies. Come in and let our friendly team assist you today!

Your journey with us starts with the initial booking. To make an appointment with one of our optometrists, you can either book online or call us directly. You can reach the Leederville clinic (08) 9242 2342 or Leeming on (08) 9332 7222.
Our friendly customer service team will attend to answer any initial questions you may have and schedule an appointment at a time that best suits you or your child.
Please note that Neurological Optometric care (neurological disorders and brain injury affecting vision) can only be booked via a phone call.
If this is your first visit to us, we will send you a link to our welcome form. The form needs to be filled out prior to your appointment. This process allows our optometrists to deliver personalised care based on your optometric needs.
After checking in with our reception, our experienced optical dispensing staff will take you to the pre-testing room. Here, they will take full and detailed images of your retina (the internal back and layer of the eye) using our Optos ultra-wide field scanning laser instrument. They will also take measurements with the DNEye, using Rodenstock’s latest eye mapping technology. Where required, your internal eye pressures are also measured.
Our Optometrist’s approach to eye care is based on assessing overall health, processing, binocular vision, and both functional and sensory aspects of vision. This means that we not only assess how clearly you see, but how your visual system works as a part of your entire sensory and motor system.
Your optometrist will discuss any existing concerns you may have, as well as your visual needs and medical history that may impact on your vision. They will then assess internal and external eye health, checking for abnormalities, signs of eye diseases, glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye and diabetic retinopathy. This can also involve measuring the sharpness of sight, the ability of your eyes to work together, the effort required to maintain focus and control of your eyes, tracking skills, and your current field of vision.
At the end of the consultation, your optometrist will explain your assessment results and make recommendations based on your visual, lifestyle and eye health needs. They will also let you know if any further testing or referrals to other allied health professionals is required. The hand over of care to our optical dispensing team is done in the privacy of the consulting room. If glasses are required, our experienced optical dispensing team member will then take you through to the dispensing section. This process considers styling and selecting a frame that best suits your lifestyle and purpose.
At Bullseye Clinic, our optometrists recommend an eye test every 12 months for adults and more frequently for children to ensure that eye function and eye health has not changed. If there is a particular condition we are monitoring, we may recommend more frequent eye checks.
We pride ourselves on offering a professional yet personal service, and we look forward to helping you!
