Optometrist

An Tran is a Melbourne-born optometrist passionate about delivering personalised care and patient education. After completing a Master of Optometry at Deakin University, An relocated to Perth to launch her career. She has since gained advanced knowledge through the Advanced Certificate in Children’s Vision and the Advanced Certificate in Glaucoma from the Australian College of Optometry.

An’s clinical interests include myopia control and dry eye management, with a focus on helping patients achieve optimal eye health. She has worked as a locum optometrist across both Perth and Melbourne, building strong relationships with patients and their families. An is also conversational in Vietnamese, allowing her to connect with Vietnamese-speaking patients.

Dedicated to advancing the field of optometry, An mentors final year students from Deakin University and the University of Western Australia and actively contributes to Early Career Optometrists Western Australia through events and conferences.

Outside of work, An enjoys spending time with her two playful rabbits, teaching them tricks, and keeping them out of mischief!
